Considering how many they have made, I'm not too concerned with that. It seems pretty isolated. I've read the Corvette forums as well, and I think most of the problems they talk about there are actually scarce. Any new build is going to have teething pains. I'm prepared for that. I've got other rigs to drive if I have to. This will be 3rd year of production. It looks like they are correcting most of the issues they have had with the 1st year cars. Plus, if it becomes too much to handle, I can sell it down the road. Not like I'm married to it.

Noticed today that the No1 heating fuel was 3.96 a gal at the bulk plant if you haul it yourself. Up roughly 30% over the past month or so. 300 gallon haul works out to 1188.00. A lot of folks burn around 150 gallons a month or more if they have a big house. Letting your house freeze really isn't an option.

Isn't that what 'ample' wives are for???
![]() Generac is flooding the airwaves here with their stand-alone nat-gas generator setups. One of my customers had one, an older lady, and it was set to self-test when I walked by. Loud sucker. Neighbor said it self-tested once a week/month (adjustable) and annoyed everyone around. Auto-cutout from Nat Grid power. Looked interesting. All I have is a small RV gasoline generator that I use to power my furnace when the power here goes out. Which is does, for 2-3 days a year. Ice storms usually. A pain, as local supermarket goes down too. No backup there.
