Mid-1930’s Mausers are among the finest Luger builds. If it is indeed all matching just with lots of finish wear, you’ll be hard pressed to find a “better” quality shooter in terms of metallurgy and fit/finish. Just my .02.

I think I should have provided more info with my original post to provide some context. The owner wanted to trade his Luger for a rifle that is valued at $2500 +/-. The value of the two are not even close and I don't want risk insulting the owner by debating the value of his Luger. I simply declined the trade and I will eventually purchase a different Luger for shooting. I am always impressed by the level of knowledge people are willing to share on this forum.
