Hurricanes and floods in Florida, Texas, Louisiana is the reason I can't find a 10-year-old Four Winds 19G for a reasonable price. Homeowners who've had their homes destroyed and red-tagged/chained buy up all the cheap RVs and park them in their driveways. They buy them as an auto loan and then write off the loan interest on their fed income tax as a second home. Rebuild their homes without having to move. And still have access to the home while it's being rebuilt by contractor.
![]() I sold my Coachman Savannah 21'er because the Japanese 1-ton frame was too rusted. It was the best! 8 1/2 hours trips to Carlisle/Gettysberg every year for something like 13 years, sometimes twice a year. Pittsburgh, New York, Philadelphia, all over New York State. Good times. ![]() I've always planned to tour the SouthWest when I retired. In a 19G. Time's running out. I've been retired 7 years now. Sell your RVs, you damned Florida pukes!!!
