Rich, you're correct that the remaining parts follow if the extractor goes, more often than not. Your pic is of a schematic for the closed-top variety of breech block. I don't think it's even possible for an extractor to go flying out of one of these! The parts would be installed the same way as I described, but if you think that's a tricky job, just have a go at removing the extractor system from one of these babies! Unless I'm mistaken, you'll find this style breech block in the SE 08 kits. The ones that make the parts go zing are found in the SE 08/2 kits, and the ones from between the wars.
