It's possible, of course, if you live in a state that allows, to do the federal paperwork, background check, and $200 payment for the tax involved to legally own an SBR. Original Carbines have been exempted from this rule, like an original Artillery or Navy.
Thank You. Ok. Mine measures 16 inches. So its not a German made model of 1920 and not marked anywhere as a John Martz gun. I take it apart and see if I can find anything that can show who made it. My understanding is that Martz guns were all marked.
