I will give it a go on a possible combo...
1. DWM Luger Carbine model 1900 (caliber 7.65 mm, 12" barrel) 2. Erfurt LP.08 (caliber 9mm, 8" barrel) 3. 1906/29 W+F Bern (caliber .30, 4.75" barrel) 4. Krieghoff P.08 (caliber 9mm, 4" barrel) 5. Vickers LTD Luger (9mm, 4") 6. Simson P.08 (9mm, 4") 7. Mauser Parabellum 06/73 (9mm or 7.65, 6" barrel) The hangups I ran into are whether or not to count the carbine, much less to include super rare items like the .45 US 1907 Test Luger or or the "baby" Lugers, and how to account for a 6" barrel as only post-war Mauser Parabellums and DWM Navy guns (commercial or military) came that way from the factory as I recall.

DWM = 3
Navy (6-inch) LP08 (8-inch) Alphabet Commercial (3 ¾-inch) Erfurt = 1 P08 (4-inch, 9mm) Simson = 1 Mauser = 1 Berne = 1 (4 ¾ inch, 7,65mm) Total = 7 If you include Vickers it stretches to 8. --Dwight |

Dwight,
If you include Krieghoff, it goes up to 9. But Erfurt could just be the LP.08 and drop it back down to 8 again.

1) 1900 AE
2) Navy (6" or 8") 3) Swiss Alphabet 4) Simson 5) 41, 42 or byf 6) LP.08 7) 1970s Mauser My personal goal was 8 different banners or chamber stamps. Thanks to some of you here, I have one of each of these now. The varieties and accessories for the Luger is what continues to fascinate me. |

Ron, At least 4 DWMs would be required for the barrel lengths of 12"(300mm), 8"(200mm),6"(150), 4&3/4"(120mm); so the DWM carbine, Artillery, Navy and M1900 would cover one manufacture, 4 barrel lengths, both calibers and 4 differ rear sight variations. So one pistol each from Erfurt, Simson, Mauser and Kreighoff will cover the remaining manufactures and the 4" (100mm) barrel length for a total of 7 pistols. TH

I see the Cirelaw shows a photo of all of them above. TH

And Erfurt can still satisfy the LP.08 requirement.

I believe there are two different barrel lengths in the Alphabet commercial lugers, a 3 7/8 inch and a 3 3/4 inch. At least that is what I have observed.
