I thought I had completed the attachments
The slide is now well and truly jammed
Can you see the photos? I think the issue was i had the magazine inserted partially at some point in the slide removal....

The only thing to do at this point is drive the upper receiver forward off the lower. it's possible you are going to break something in the process. Good luck.

Where is the slide stop engaging? Can you depress the SS from the rear?
