His 'stock' of guns were bought by a large auction company and sold over a year or so - his personal collection was then sold by his family (son/daughter) over a couple of rock island auctions.

I bought his 1926 Simson, which had never been reblued or restored, which was nice - some pieces he had were so new looking that it made you wonder. But I had looked at this one in person and then later pictures from him / the auction.
