This afternoon I went to have a hands on inspection at that SIMSON.
In practice to me it looked completely different from the photos; I mean the bluish colour of the pictures is completely wrong and in all honesty I couldn't see the expected evidence of pitting under the finish, nevertheless I'm not convinced about it. Photographs are not always a good indicator of what the actual finish looks like BUT in some cases they can emphasize small details like, for instance the fact that in this case the toggle axle pin looks blued.
