My wife's father was on the third wave at Omaha Beach as a combat engineer that morning with his fellow brothers in arms. I am reminded every time I step into our den of his and all others sacrifice's when I see his burial flag with his silver star and purple heart. Bill was a true gentleman and a wonderful grandfather to my two sons. Jeffrey
