Not unless it had been reblued or otherwise relegated to “shooter” status. Breaking a part on an all matching gun can tank it’s value

That's why I insert a non-matching toggle before shooting.

Lucky (or unlucky?) for me that’s exactly how I bought this one from G.T.

Side notes, does anyone happen to have a matching Mauser S/42 toggle train marked with a “22”? And under the SN on the barrel is a very faint and small marking of numbers that appear to read “8.81”
