Hi,

The original German Military loading was a 123 grain bullet at 1,076 fps.

9mm NATO is a 121 grain bullet loaded almost 20% hotter at 1,260 fps.

To avoid damaging your Luger, you should avoid NATO strength ammo.

Standard velocity Winchester White Box (typically marked 9mm Luger or Parabellum)should work just fine for you.
