Thor, if this is a matching artillery, original, it may not be in the owners best interest to restore it in my opinion. Unit marked artilleries are not very common. To each there own, and just an opinion on my part. If the owner is looking for a pretty shooter, I may be able to work a deal on one better suited for a restoration by you to save this one if it is a matching original. What year, 1917? John
