Default Mauser PP by Simpson Ltd

Marked on the butt on my Mod PP .22 cal in very small letters Simpson Ltd. G'burg Il Germany. anybody run across anything like this before?


OK, just Googled it and it's their "inport mark".

they brought in a lot of Sturgess' guns and I am sure over the years others.

I think the new small marking is since they bought that laser marking machine?

My mistake in the heat of the moment I inserted wrong makers name.....Should read Walther PP.
