Gerry, if you are going to list members who are knowledgeable, then why not make it a comprehensive listing with areas of members' expertise identified? Then make it a 'sticky' with an identifiable title explaining what it is.

I don't know much about anything, and I frequently have to ask who is the 'go-to' guy for whatever it is that piques my interest at any one time. I haven't been here long enough to know who knows what.

A central listing would benefit us 'old noobies' as well as the 'new noobies'...

This is a very good idea IMO. As long as everyone agrees to be listed on it. Would be helpful to all members.

Some talented and skillful members have announced their semi-retirement from Luger fabrication. Thor, Hugh, and Tom come to mind. They're not totally out of it but they don't want to be swamped either.

It's tricky. Good friends may do each other occasional favors but not want to go into full time 'business'.
