"What are 'pins' used for in the cleaning???"
I believe that we are on the subject of rotating tumblers, not our tried-and-true vibrating tumblers. Rotating tumblers use a liquid solution and small steel pins that clean the inside as well as the outside of the cases and primer pocket. My understanding was that the pins were stainless steel, however Major Tom mentions a magnet, so that must not be the case. They say that the rotating tumblers do offer better cleaning overall than do our vibrating models. dju |
