Sure you can up load from your computer.
You can add them to your post, click edit "", then go advanced, then go down to "manage images". Follow instructions.

What you have is a relatively common lube oil can that was used by the US armed forces circa WW2 for the Browning machine guns. During the war, they transitioned to a more square bodied, slightly larger can.
