Yeah the Swiss was/it big on Waffenfett. Everyone else uses oil but the Swiss use grease even for barrel cleaning. I have never found out why, grease and dust is a big No-No, then again little dust in the Apls.
And i see yours has some verdigris from the leather bag ;-) A lemon wedge dipped in salt and a gentle rub will take care of that. |
