Q1, I don't "have to have matching magazines, but would rather;
1. Have a matching mag gun compared to a non-matching mag gun 2. Have a gun with real history than some gun that has sat in the desk drawer (but unless it has real provenance, then I would take a 95% gun over a 85% gun anyday, you can always find a magazine made in the same time period, i.e. a 7245b gun and find a b magazine later Jerry amswered the strawing part for Q2
