Default P08 Luger book

I would like to purchase a good book that shows just about everything involving a P08. Like disassembly/assembly, maintenance, diagrams, stampings on P08, etc. What do recommend for the new Luger guy? also, info on various models.
Thanks

Buy the Sturgess 3 volume set- about $300; or buy it as a CD for about $40 from Simpsons Ltd.

For disassembly there are videos on YouTube that are helpful.

Thanks for all the suggestions. At this time I cannot see spending $300-400 on a book. And I don't use CDs either.

Would you spend $300-400 on a new gun? On ammo? On accessories for your gun?

Then read these forums from beginning to end, there are several "books" worth of info here.
No "quick" way to knowledge.

It's a DVD, not a CD. The book is on it as a pdf. You can load it on to your computer and never touch the DVD again. The best part is it is searchable!

If you don't have a DVD drive for your computer, buy a cheap external one. The books are worth every penny at $300. As a DVD it is an insane bargain. It will save you far more than $300 worth of mistakes buying Lugers and their accessories.

Avoiding One mistake in buying a faked Luger makes a $300 book cheap.

Lugers At Random was recommended to me as a good "starter" book, I got mine used via Amazon for under $50. One of the best book purchases I've ever made.

John Walter recently republished his Luger Story book. It is a great reference book for new collectors.
