Post Upper Barrel Receiver from Russian Contract Luger?

Is this what I think it is....the barrel receiver assembly from a Russian contract Luger.

I believe it is... but it may also be a receiver from an attempt to "create" one of these rare Lugers... you just can't be sure from these photographs...

The barrel doesn't look like it is original to the receiver; the reported serial# is out-of-range.

I have corresponded with (and bought from) this seller, she is piece-mealing out a retired gunsmith's "back room" and has had rather interesting items in the past.

I think she and her husband are part-time LF participants as well...from the Sacramento area...

I went home and checked the reference books. Six known examples. Hope she did not have the entire gun and has been parting it out! I emailed her and let her know what it is, so if there is any chance the rest of the gun is retrievable she at least knows it would be worth the effort. Restored, I am guess it is worth $15,000, but admittedly that may be wildly optimistic.

As for a possible mismatch barrel, I understand that DWM used left over parts from the Bulgarian contract to fill the small Russian contract. Is it certain that all the parts would have matched?
