This is a common question - might be in the FAQ
White box winchester seems to work in lugers - but lugers can be finicky, so try a few types before buying a lot of something Also, what do you consider a rework 1918? |

115gn standard velocity FMJ ammo should work best, like the WWB mentioned by Ed...

Another brand that my Lugers are happy with is PMC(Korean mfg.) Bronze Series 115gr FMJ. It is very reasonably priced, and usually available in many places.

Any 115 grain, brass ammo should work fine. No hot ammo. No NATO ammo. I've run WWB, Blazer, Federal, PMC, and others.
