I did a thread on that modelgun on this forum. I also copied all the web site pics before I bought the modelgun. It is an accurate 1:1 rendering, except for firing pin and bore/rifling. (It can't be made to fire live rounds). I originally had thoughts of copying the dimensions into CAD for CNC workstation 'production'. But I don't know of anyone who could transfer/reverse engineer the dimensions into usable drawings/CAD. And I don't have a CNC workstation. ![]() I've stripped it and it is amazingly accurate as to disassembly and function. It chambers, 'fires', and ejects shells. It is not particularly intricate as far as machineability. It was made at a time when machine tools were much simpler, and fewer in number and function. IMO, it's simpler than a Luger. If I still had my Bridgeport mill and South Bend lathe, it would be within my capability to make one, given enough time. ![]() A CNC workststion would be much simpler. Load the CAD/CAM software and let it run overnight. Enough nights would yield a complete set of parts.

![]() Mr. Hondo would have a complete set, reverse engineered from his actual Borchardt. In Japanese, of course, and Metric...

Ron Wood here on Forum has original C93 Borchardt. Perhaps you could persuade Ron to loan you his C93 if you loan him your .45 Luger...For a limited time, of course...

I think Ron was talking about selling his, so you may want to check with him. It's not like the are getting cheaper, so I don't think you have anything to lose by buying one. They are pretty pricey, but probably safer than money in the bank.
