Thanks all for your feedback. Bill, fair point about the mag with the sharper fonts. It is a spare, and the mag's alum. body has patina to show where it made contact with the holster's leather. None on the one that is inserted in the pistol. It is also subject to less metal wear on the soft aluminum bottom plug, being a spare. That is what I can surmise.
