OK - easy peasy.... Windows XP? I can do that in my sleep....
Do this: Go to Control Panel>Network Connections and select your local network. Click Properties, then select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP). Click Properties. A pop-up window will open... The TOP HALF (Obtain Ip Address automatically or Use the following IP address) - just leave where they are... The bottom half of that pop-up will have: Obtain DNS Server Address Automatically Use the following DNS Server addresses Under "use the following DNS Server addresses, you'll see entry boxes for a bunch of numbers. In those enter the following: 208.67.222.222 208.67.220.220 Click the Ok button. On XP - you should reboot the computer afterwards, or you can reset the network manually? John D. |
