It is very helpful to post pictures of fake holsters like this.

Based upon characteristics, can anyone guess at it's actual origin?

With the caveat that we don't want to describe the more subtle problems, I'd be up to making an FAQ on this if anyone wants to start with the list of problems that this one has:

1. Fake "inspection / maker" stamp. Manufacturers did not government inspect and mark their own goods. The acceptance stamp was separately applied by a government inspector and workers assigned to the factory.

2. The weight of the leather and shape of the holster is incorrect

3. Front flap strap sewed on at an incorrect angle

4. Stitching uneven

You can add that the belt loops are at an incorrect angle as well.
