Recent acquisitions (christmas shopping)

Here are some photos of some recently aquired early (very early) lugers.
Two were purchased here in NZ while one came home with me from the recent SAR show.

From bottom to top.
1900 1st series 1st variation Swiss
1900 1st series 1st variation Commercial
1900 1st series 3rd variation American eagle.

I also got a nice 1944 Krieghoff for Christmas.

<img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> I dont know what to say...CONGRATS! ...I saw your KRIEGHOFF Post first...it's a good thing that I'm already seated for this one cause I think I would broke my back falling down....

VERY IMPRESSIVE! Those pistols seem to be in incredible conditions....Hopefully you'll give us more details ( PICS ) of those very nice EARLY LUGERS...

Thanks Guys,
I have always dreamed about owning some Luger that one sees in the front pages of Kenyon's "Lugers at Random."
I never believed it could happen, yet it has in the space of one month. They were not cheap, but the opportunity came up and I grabbed it.
There is a saying I really believe in,
" The only regrets in Luger collecting is the Guns that you sold and the guns you didn't buy.
The reason that most Lugers down here are in such good condition is that we do not use them for shooting and only rarely in pistol clubs.
I will post some close ups if you wish, let me know what you would like to see.

Congratulations on the three 1900 Lugers which are in fine condition indeed. I hope that you have the opportunity to find more Lugers for your collection. I would have never imagined that NZ could yield so many nice Lugers of different variations.

What is the date of the Swiss holster in the image with the brass putzstock?

If you do not mind, I would like to see a close-up image of your Artillery Luger with matching stock/holster/straps.
