Out of experience K98K are not among the best range guns, look for a Persian Mauser instead.

Thanks for suggestion. Almost forgot Persian, Persian is also 8mm caliber. I will look for one. These rifles are like pistols, finding one is easy, but finding a great one is not easy.

Saw a prewar standard model of 1930s in great condition last year, but I don't know much about it, and its price tag was not an amount that I can buy without knowing much.. so I gave up that chance.
