Ok, I finally went and shot my carbine. first it was conflicting schedules and then I was sick as heck, then my son (he caught my very nasty cold), and this afternoon it was 23 degrees, but I said the heck with it
![]() One failure to feed, and it was a hollow point, the other 6 rounds (HP) fed fine, plus 5 magazines of Federal FMJ. Very pleased! Also shot 3 mags through my GT Special !!

Eric, really excellent, and I have only shot a couple of carbines. The stock had loosened up a bit, my fault, I had not put it into the correct place. Boy, it was more accurate than I am. I was popping off small targets that I could not hit with my pistol, easily

It seem although the same round in a carbine it seems allot more powerful and accurate! How were the sights? Any plans for a sling! I bought from Jerry many years ago~

YES! All carbines need a sling! A nice leather one...I wonder where one could be found?

Let me call in the next day or so, I need to figure out what to do? what to do?what to do? I can promise you it will not take 2.7 years to get a beautiful leather Carbine sling with studs, adjustment buckle and hand sewn keepers. HAHA!
Was very happy to hear your wonderful Carbine shoots so well. That's good to hear.

Two leather bootlaces will suffice till Jerry can fix you up!
Happy for you that it shot well!

This is an original carbine sling Jerry found for me over ten years ago. I could never use it due to its present condition but I wanted it to be complete. I'm sure Jerry can find or make you one perfect~ Eric

Correction. I never offered Ed my "old oily gnarled for his brand new carbine"as an original that Jerry sold me ten years ago. It wasn't to be used but is a legit sample. Further indicated Jerry could deliver perfect substitute!~~Eric

Ed'
So glad to hear that your new carbine is a reliable shooter, accurate, and that you are pleased with it. I will bet that for a short while, you forgot about the cold weather, and had a "silly smile" on your face!! If that carbine will feed HP ammo, then you really have a good one. Congrats!! |

Ed- simply breathtaking! Glad it all worked out so well for you in the end. Unfortunately I don't have your kind of patience. Bill

Lighten Up Eric, some of us here appreciate a good sense of humor. I very much doubt Ed has it "hanging" on his wall though.
