Bill, very cool

is it the angle of the mag bottom and picture that makes it look ground? From the side it does not look that way?

How does it look in real life?

Hi Ed, I believe that all Mauser aluminum mag bases were lightly "ground" prior to stamping to remove a casting line.

I added two pictures of the bottom of the magazine - one taken without a flash and one taken with a flash.
