Hi Wes,

I have to respectfully disagree that the title of the article was irresponsible. To date there has been no (to my knowledge) account of the provenance of the Luger in question. Rare firearms (which this carbine certainly is, if authentic) without provenance are dubious. Ã¢??DubiousÃ¢?? simply means that doubt exists concerning the firearmÃ¢??s authenticity, because there has been nothing to establish its authenticity.
