Default The World should never forget

To all my LUGER friends and LUGER enthusiasts,

I think we all remember exactly what we were doing when the news of what was happening reached us.
Sometimes I feel like too many people already forgot like it never happened... but perhaps it's only me.

Sergio

...I lost a work associate in the Pentagon attack, only by the grace of God was it not me working on that contract that day.

...My best friend's daughter lost her fiancé. She worked in the Office Secretary of Defense, her fiancé was supposed to meet her for coffee around 9:30 but the attacks in New York made that impossible. They said they would meet for lunch instead. He remained at his desk and was killed as a result of the airplane impact.

...I have had to go to New York City at least 4 times since then, and I can't bring myself to visit the site where the twin towers stood. just seeing the pictures makes me so angry.

I called my brother that morning right after the Pentagon attack to tell him that me and my wife were okay... the last thing I said to him was "Life, as we have known it, is OVER. It will never be the same."

...my belief and faith in Jesus Christ has taught me to forgive even those that I don't want to, but I can NEVER forget.

"Eternal vigilance is the price of Liberty" - Thomas Jefferson. Sad, but true... there is a very large faction that hate and target Americans. We must seek to change this and protect ourselves against those who will not change. Across the Potomac at Bolling AFB we watched this on TV and could see the fires out our windows. They hit a wing that was just rehabbed which provided some protection, but lessons were learned for rehabbing the rest of the Pentagon. Every federal employee working there was given a days combat pay. Walking to work the next day, you could still see the Pentagon smoking. Fortunately I wasn't there that day, but went over to work in that area after it was rebuilt and help with that vigilance.
