Thank you, one and all, for the birthday wishes!

My sister came by for a visit on Saturday with one of my nieces. They said I look 55, not the actual mileage of 65--which was a pretty good present in itself. Well, I don't know. I used to have a Chevy Lumina APV (All Plastic Vehicle

) which looked great even in its 14th year, when I sold it for $350. All the important stuff underneath, that you could not see, was pretty rusty!

I'm anticipating an adventure while getting Medicare fired up...

Nevermind that...Have you enrolled in Enhanced STAR yet??? You'll only pay half of what you paid with Basic STAR...

Being 65 has that one advantage...

Though I've owned three houses, I am happily renting from now on. So, I'll have to settle for the other myriad discounts, small though they may be!

Not directly. But a good landlord will be sure to figure it in when establishing rent.
