What extremely exciting is if you dig deeper into the article you can find links to lots of Colts documents from the period. Like for example pics of tooling and machinery used back then, buildings, persons involved, weaponry, surroundings...
It is interesting, for example, to be able t o compare two images like this one side by side one from the article and photo from the archive: "Revolver frame jigging machine The use of the revolver frame jigging machine is demonstrated by a Colt worker. This machine could cut both the interior and exterior surfaces of a revolver frame. The inner hub of the machine is engraved "Col. Saml. Colt Hartford Ct." The employee wears a unique hat that is square at the top and seems to be made of folded paper." For me this kind of trip back into the past is priceless.
