Doug,

Always nice to see another early Luger on the screen. Looks to me like you did pretty well, congratulations and thanks for the view.

As far as the grip safety retaining more blue than the frame, I've noticed the effect to a greater or lesser extent on other grip safety guns, and attribute it to the difference in hardness and composition of the steel which makes up the respective parts. Same reason that sideplates seem to lose their finish faster than most of the rest of the gun.
