Do the Brits still call all handguns "revolvers"?

They used to, and I think of Clue as a British game...

They only have cards for the pieces now??? IIRC, one version of the game had a small revolver for the weapon; plus a candlestick, wrench...I forget the rest...

I think I have the old game in the attic...

No, I'm wrong - I have 'Monopoly'...
