Lonnie, staying with lower cost items is definitely no guarantee of authenticity! The fakers may think cheaper fakes are easier to sell as the ignorant buyer may feel it won't hurt his wallet too much. There is no substitute for knowledge, experience and trust in the seller (better to know him well!).

You have made some good points there Herbert. While a guy is gaining in knowledge and experiance, probably trust in the seller is going to be a good start..
