I've already seen more than one DWM Luger somehow matched with a frame bearing Krieghoff marks/side frame inscriptions for sale in gunshops, and I've been told : "... but, what do you mean? this is a Krieghoff!!" by starry eyed gunshop owners.
In these cases I'm always pretty suspicious and keep in mind the saying: "it's always better not to rationalize purchasing a gun that is not convincing me from the beginning, and I try to ensure that I should reject it".
