George, am I right on the "Prv" marking designating a weapon bought by the Getman gov, to be sold to soldiers? Only found a few references to that, but nothing definitive.

The "Prv" marking which is only found on BUG proofed '08 commercials is believed to be an abbreviation for "Privat" or private. Carefully examine the original magazine that came with the pistol as some early mags were marked at the base of the spine with a block letter "P". These are quite rare and associated with officer purchase guns.
