If you can, go to the range and aggressively cup the butt with your off-hand, effectively pressing up on the mag. bottom to raise the mag. to its upper limits. In that scenerio does the gun feed better?
We need to identify the brand of the aftermarket mag. too. You may end up buying a Mec-Gar, but first let's determine if the mag. catch is worn.
Extraction/ejection is probably a whole 'nuther matter.
