Marking like that is not often encountered so it is not surprising that you had difficulty in finding information. There is a similar type marking but for a different purpose...there are a few Lugers with a 1917/18 marking on them which probably indicates a piece manufactured just at the end of one year/the beginning of the next. __________________ If it's made after 1918...it's a reproduction Last edited by Ron Wood; 07-19-2014 at 03:10 AM.
