I did all of the above but the mark is so small and faint that this is the best I could get. With a magnifying glass I think I can see a stick eagle and below that the bottom part of a 3 46 and the bottom part of a 3. What I really need is a jewelers loop.

The photos are hi-def so you can enlarge by clicking on them and they using the computer Z00M at about 300 get as good a photo as I have been able to get.

Who applied the mark and what did it signafie? Were there more then one type of mark or were they all the same? Did they come with the holster, gun or was this an issue item. Is there someplace that shows all the different marks?
