eBay is his "website"... and he preys on the uneducated who haven't done their research. He can seldom post anything for sale there that doesn't get reviewed here...
I haven't seen it all, not in over 50 years of looking at Lugers, but I have NEVER seen anything like the inletting on the back of this particular stock. ...check your PM's Rich.

I doubt it is from this notorious faker living in Minnesota, since I bought it here in the Netherlands. (where I am also living)

Do you have the holster for it also??? And, since you posted in the Navy Luger forum, do you have the Navy Luger to go with it???

I do not have a navy Luger which goes with it, it came with a German army Luger composed out of parts with various serial numbers. Which I bought for a nice price. The guy I bought it from did also not know where the stock originated from. |

I have no idea where the stock originated, or who might have modified it to its current configuration. It does appear that the inletting shown in the photo for the brass strap keeper is of a newer vintage than the original stock manufacturer's work.

Hi David, The Netherlands connection changes everything! What made me think the stock was fake was the Dutch style brass plate attached to the stock. Perhaps now one of our Dutch Luger collectors could figure out what this is.
