Not likely - the only time I see a different number on a mag is when it is the unit weapon number (police luger) - otherwise it has the entire serial number

I found a 3604a eagle 655 which is off by 544 which I'd trade for the correct one.

I also have a 9523m eagle 63 only to the owner.

Type 3: Blued Extruded Body, Aluminum Concave Center Pinned Body, 122 Code, E/37, 3214o

Looks like there is a lightly struck E/37 towards the top of the magazine as well.
