I live in the Weatherly/Jim Thorpe area and some of the mountains here do go almost straight up. However one must replace the brakes on their vehicles every year regardless of downshifting. Deer, turkey, fox, coyote, bear, etc. right in my backyard. Nothing behind my house except woods for six miles. But I am ready for Spring. I have to pay a guy 150.00 tomorrow to shovel my roof. I can't do it myself because I had my knee replaced a few weeks ago.

I wish I could get my roof shoveled. Lots of heavy ice up there, a good portion of which finds/runs its way into the house.
![]() Here's what the temp looked like today at 7:30am...When I took the first shot, it was -2.7ºF...Then while I was taking this shot, the sun peeped over the horizon and it zoomed up to -2.5ºF...I took a third shot, all in the space of about 90 seconds, and it was up to -2.3ºF... ![]() Now it's 8:30am and up to +4.9ºF...Heat wave!!! ![]()
