And I have to argue Cabela's is the same. Cabela;s by me has two black widows, very rough shape - far worse then this gun - with rust in many areas and they are asking $3500 each! Ridiculous.

They advertised one with 3 3/8 barrel or something to like, and it was odd because it was noticeably shorter then the 4" next to it.

A month or two ago, I just missed out on a unit marked 1st issue P. 08 a Cabela's had out West (Idaho, I think?). Was a really nice gun, but it was sold by the time I called out there. Was priced at $1000. Shopping Cabela's inventory via the internet is almost useless, due to how infrequently they update.

I can't disagree with you though, sometimes I wonder what they're smoking when it comes to their luger pricing. I've seen some lugers priced at twice as much or more than what "the market" would otherwise dictate.
