I have carried a wide range of handguns, among those a Beretta 1934 made in 1941, a Colt 1903 made in 1927, and even a Beretta 950 Jetfire in .25 ACP. I live in Florida where a t-shirt and shorts are the norm and pocket space is sometimes pretty small. I've never given the Luger a serious thought as a concealed carry weapon for the fact of size, perhaps a baby Luger cut from a more recently manufactured gun might be suitable when carried with the safety on?
