I thought I'd throw this up here just for S&G...

It's from the 1953 Lyman Reloading Manual #39...At the very end of the 'Pistol Cartridges' section...

Please direct your attention to the very last line...

I checked the Handloaders Manual Of Cartridge Conversions and COTW and the .455 Colt is the same as the .455 Enfield Mk 1...

How do you call the cartridge for the 455 colt in service in UK : 455 auto ?
The 3' in standing place

They are called a .455 Auto by some, and .455 Webley Auto by others. I own a 1914 Colt 1911 in .455 Auto caliber.
