You can buy AutoCAD LT for about $500 last I priced it, works all the same as the normal AutoCAD except it does not have the 3d stuff with it. I never used the 3d at work anyway, no one wanted to use it in the drafting service I worked for in San Francisco. After I left them and moved I did some consulting work with the AutoCAD LT because I could not afford the normal AutoCAD and there were no problems with it. I made a lot of gun drawings with it, I was in BPCR then, but I no longer shoot BCPR as my back is too bad, so I went into pistols instead. My Grandfather fought in the Mex revolution and carried an American Eagle Luger in 7,65 Luger. That's how I ended up on this forum.
