The Luger was originally designed for use with truncated cone bullets. I have shot it successfully without feed problems with Lead Truncated Cone bullets and with round nose FMJ bullets.
I reload for the Luger with both Titegroup and W231 powders. Load them toward the lower end of the guidelines and work up as needed. A good online source for load data comes from Hodgden. http://data.hodgdon.com/main_menu.asp Find the tables you need and print them for your use... They list a variety of their powders with a variety of bullets. Marc
